Greater Missouri is an amazing network of over 1,000 Challenger alumnae. Our organization continues to build the alumnae network with each new class and works to foster opportunities for alums to network in their communities and across the state.
The commitment and diversity of our alumnae is our strength. We celebrate the perseverance of our Challenge Graduates as they transition into alumnae status. Due to their unique experiences and our creative regional teams, we have grown stronger as we embrace the mission, vision, and values of our organization to inspire women leaders.
We continue to introduce Greater Missouri to additional and diverse regional leaders and run pertinent and insightful life-changing sessions. We celebrate, connect, and develop each of these women in her leadership journey.
Our goal is to educate, inspire, and discover all that each of you can be and then make a positive impact on the tribe around you.
Thank you for joining our team.

Engaging our Alumnae
Active alumnae serve on our session planning teams, serve as moderators and panelists by bringing their professional expertise to the table, and serve as hospitality hosts engaging with members of our newest class. Send-off receptions and regional luncheons are popping up as we reconnect, meet and mentor the new class members.
Join us in St. Louis for our tentative dates of July 18, 2023 for our Alumnae Reunion and/or on July 19, 2023 for our Women of the Year Celebration. Be watching as details are announced and registration opens. Our alumnae network is one of the intangible attributes of staying involved as GMLC alumnae. This sisterhood remains an excellent experience for proven women leaders and continues to offer lasting rewards for both employee and employer.
Operationally, the Board of Directors continually reviews our successes and any challenges we face, and helps set the course for the future of Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation. The recruitment process and the annual campaign for individual and sponsorship underwriting and donations has helped us to better identify and reach out to exceptional intersectional female leaders from throughout Missouri as future GMLC applicants.
Goals for 2023
A sustained goal for Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation is to increase the return on investment for organizations that have empowered their women leaders to take The Challenge. We continue our emphasis on LEADERSHIP by utilizing a Strengths-Based Leadership component in GMLC. We will also be utilizing metrics to track progress and results amplifying our Guidestar/CANDID Platinum Status.
We are encouraging more regional activities to sustain our growth. Watch our calendar of events and join us. Raise your hand to lead a group activity or gather regional alumnae to join you at a community event (those Challenge Class nametags will come in handy)!
We are experimenting with a space to connect more deeply with the women in our network while adding a little time to focus on yourself as we start up a 2023 Lean In Circle. Leaning in is not a solo sport. In a world where women still face bias and other barriers at work, Circles are a safe space to share your struggles, give and get advice, and celebrate each other’s wins. Whether you need help navigating your new normal at work or are looking for support from women who understand what you’re going through, our Greater Missouri Circle will give you the boost we all need. Be watching as plans unfold for a virtual circle with the goal to encourage in-person regional circles in the future.
This year the Board has empowered me to streamline our communication and engagement with different audiences to include our Board, Alumnae Council, Regional Planning Teams, Committees, Challenge Cohort, Sponsors and Donors, and our growing Alumnae.
